Kevin Friend attended Georgetown University where he was a walk-on for the Division 1 Men's Basketball team. He received his MBA from the Smith School at University of Maryland. Realizing real estate was his true calling, Kevin left the management consulting world to combine his data-based decision making with his passion for helping people achieve their goals. Although new to Compass, Maya is no stranger to the DC real estate market, having years of experience as a real estate advisor under her belt. After studying Psychology at the University of Maryland, Maya immediately got her real estate license and began learning the intricacies of the real estate industry. Julian is a Florida native of Jamaican descent. From her high school creating a scholarship in her name to earning a full scholarship to Georgetown University, Julian has always pursued excellence. As a former Nike athlete, she garnered several awards and accolades over the course of her ten year career, including US National Champion and Pan American Champion. Once Julian hung up her spikes it was only natural for her to be a licensed real estate agent, as her mom thrived in the business since she was eight years old. Before committing full time to real estate, Julian successfully co-owned four franchises in Palm Beach County, Florida for six years, which she eventually sold and moved to Miami to make her mark in the market. Julian proudly acknowledges that her success largely stems from referrals. “It’s never about the transactions; it’s about people, relationships.” Her clientele ranges from the first time buyer to the highest profile celebrity. She is relentless in meeting her clients’ needs and providing anticipatory service. “My clients depend on my knowledge and expertise to guide them with one of their largest investments.” While Julian still services South Florida, she has returned to the city of her alma mater to extend her reach and influence the northeast market. She brings her husband, daughter, and two dogs (Penelope & Olivia) along for the ride.
