Her strong and deep ties to the community and more than “googleable” knowledge of the metro area have allowed her to develop a profound understanding of its ever-changing real estate market. Although new to Compass, Maya is no stranger to the DC real estate market, having years of experience as a real estate advisor under her belt. Her unwavering positivity, entrepreneurial experience, negotiation skills, and “get it done” attitude have extensively contributed to the success she’s achieved in her real estate career thus far. Maya’s most valuable assets are her natural affinity for people, authenticity, and tenacious work ethic. They are largely responsible for her excellent client rapport and the genuine long-lasting relationships she’s cultivated with all of her present and past clients. After studying Psychology at the University of Maryland, Maya immediately got her real estate license and began learning the intricacies of the real estate industry. Since then, she’s developed her own unique approach to the real estate business that is heavily influenced by her educational background, life experiences, and passion for sports and competition. Most importantly, the knowledge and habits she adopted as a psychology student have been particularly useful when assisting her clients. Specifically, her detail-oriented personality and analysis skills have made her extremely perceptive and an incredibly active listener, allowing her to understand her clients on a deeper level and match them with the exact home they’ve been envisioning. Maya’s greatest driving force is the pure joy and fulfillment that comes with getting to know her clients and guiding them to their dream homes. While each of her clients have different needs and visions, she makes it her top priority to work diligently, exceed their expectations, and make the home buying process as stress-free and enjoyable as it's meant to be.
